Liz Durand, RN

Registered Nurse

From a young age, Liz knew she wanted to be a nurse to serve others and impact their lives. She is originally from Narberth, PA, where she earned her nursing degree at Chester County Hospital School of Nursing. After finishing school, Liz moved to Boston and worked in a long-term care facility for three years. She then returned to PA and switched her emphasis on Labor and Delivery. Liz worked as an L&D travel nurse for the next seven years, leading her to Colorado, Washington, California, Oregon, and New York City.

In 2005, Liz moved to Florida, where she decided to try something new and trained to work in the Operating Room at NCH Healthcare System in Naples. During this time, Liz met her husband, Stephen. In April 2022, they will celebrate their 15th year of marriage. They have three boys, ages 13, 11, and 9.

In 2018 Liz co-founded Dura Medical along with Stephen. Liz will be the enthusiastic voice you hear on the other end of the phone, collecting background histories, completing prior authorization, and assisting with medication refills. When she’s not on the phone, she works alongside her husband, Stephen, to help manage infusions. Liz enjoys spending time with Stephen lounging in the pool or watching their three boys play basketball during her time off.
